Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using RememberMap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
RememberMap is a travel memory application that lets you save locations, attach notes and photos, and organize places into trips. Features include AI-powered recommendations, voice notes, and trip management.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
4. User content
You retain ownership of content you upload (notes, photos, audio). By uploading content you grant RememberMap a limited license to store and display it for the purposes of providing the Service. We do not sell your content to third parties.
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, obscene, harassing, or infringes on the rights of others.
5. Privacy
All trips are private by default. You can share a trip via a link at your discretion. Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the Service
- Use the Service to spam, harass, or harm others
- Scrape or bulk-export data through automated means
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
7. Third-party services
The Service uses Google Maps Platform, Google Cloud Storage, and OpenAI APIs. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or changes.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any recommendations are accurate. Location data and AI-generated suggestions are informational only.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RememberMap will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Upon deletion, your data is removed from our systems within 30 days.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note the effective date at the top of this page.
